30 new locations joined our network during 2017
30 new locations joined the INFORM waiting room network during 2017. This included 10 multiple GP Practices, 7 additional hospital waiting areas, Physiotherapy Clinics, and Public Health Centres. Among those to join the network were Carrigaline Medical Practice; Kingsford Medical, Portmarnock; Cypress Clinic, Templeogue; and Park Medical Practice, Killarney.
Doctors and healthcare professionals tell us they value our health information display service, and GPs tell us that the health information on display is often referred to by patients during their consultation. It helps facilitate doctor-patient dialogue, particularly around sensitive health issues. GPs also understand that printed material, because it aids understanding, is very helpful in guiding the effective management of health conditions or potential conditions.
Brochures offer the advantage that they can be referred to by patients at home – which can help improve compliance with treatment or adherence to a healthier lifestyle.
